I found a source which appears to have new Neutral Safety Switches in stock for only ~$200 each. I plan on calling tomorrow to verify their inventory before ordering as they usually show Out Of Stock on their website when a particular part is not available.
Anders' photo of the internals of a NSS has me wondering if they can be dismantled for service, i.e. cleaning the contacts and wipers, or if opening them requires destruction of the case fasteners?
A can of contact cleaner is MUCH cheaper than the discounted switch I may have found.
Thanks,
