I bought a Raxle for my personal SAAB in 2005. At the time there were few options for a 9-5 SAAB. At the time I also had a Volvo and had a bad experience with another aftermarket rebuilt brand that I got through Advance Auto. I wanted to avoid a rebuilt axle with reground parts. Raxles at the time I bought mine touted NEW components Amsoil synthetic grease, and the BEST CV boots. I immediately noticed that boots did feel nice and a lot thicker than GM W, A, and H body axles that seem very thin.
I don't know what Raxles cost now. I have another SAAB 9-5 that I have been rebuilding it has 200k miles on it. The axles on it were not leaking but while I had the engine and transmission out I replaced all of the front suspension parts, ball joints, steering rack end links, rotors, bearings. I spent more on the bearings and other parts and cut corners on the axles. They are lifetime $59 axles from ORiley's. My dad lost the only key had before I could finish it and drive it to a dealer to make spares keys. (you can imagine the nightmare that has caused) I haven't finished the car so I cant speak for any vibrations or longevity.
I will say that a shop quoted my friend 1000K to replace one axle and the front struts on her Honda. She couldn't afford that. I told her I would donate the labor if she paid for the parts. I bought a Honda axle available at ORiley's with all new components (BTW they dont sell this brand for SAABs) however, the axle was too short or the retaining ring was bad as it would not stay in the transmission. ORiley's replaced the Axle with another Axle. I was lucky as going cheap could have ruined the transmission.
So, if the only needed repair is the axle and you can afford the extra cost I probably would splurge and get Raxles. I truly feel you can't go wrong with them. Good Luck!
