This is the prices Volvo choose to charge for almost the same switch.
But even in this case it is no rhyme and reason since the $244.00 is for a 2000 only S/V 40 and the $110.00 is for a 2001-03 S/V 40 using just about the same transmission but I guess they changed the electric connector.
Also, through the years I think I have replaced 5 or so gear selector switches total on all Volvo models and no switch from 99 and up. So it is possible for them to work but I don't know why Saab's have been failing left and right since 94.
