Wow! Those extra 90 horses under the hood sure are nice. I was also wondering what the car would sound like during hard acceleration since I have gotten accustomed to the sound of a Saab/Remus fed via a 3-inch Down pipe. Nice growl when punched. My neighbors will probably appreciate the quieter easy motoring exhaust note in the mornings.
My wife found a short split seam in the bolster upholstery of the passenger side front seat that missed my eyes. The primary driver must have carried a trucker's wallet in their left rear pocket based on the side bolster wear on the driver's seat. I did notice this when inspecting the car. I will get quotes from auto upholstery shops for the cost to restitch the passenger seat seam and touch-up the surface abrasion on the driver's bolster.
I wonder what other items the previous owner let slide? Based on the carelessness of the seat wear I will be changing the oil immediately. With only 33.5K miles on the odometer there can't be too many other items which might have been neglected.
Someone carrying a trucker's wallet, driving a Saab Aero, and living in West Bloomfield was this car's previous owner. Those familiar with Detroit will recognize the irony and dichotomy in that statement.
