That's what I thought too so I tried it on a hot engine/tranny hoping it would break free easier. No go. The plug is aluminum, with a recessed T55 Torx fitting, threaded into the aluminum case. Heavi-duty wrenching with a hardened steel T55 bit in the aluminum plug recess has me a little nervous.
