I have been in saab key hell still not quite out of it but at least have one key that starts the car. Grab your title and registration and go to your dealer. Hopefully they are still around. The can give you the key code from your vin from that keycode a local locksmith may or may not be able to cut u a key. I couldn't find a locksmith that could do it.So I used an online source in Utah. I also found a source in the Uk that is a little cheaper. The spanish JML key works the doors and the ignition but can't be programed by a tech 2 but can be cloned. You can take your transponder from your working key and permanetly mount it. To the twice antenna which surrounds the ignition key. Your problem is what is the key code for the lock cylinder in your car. I saw another source out there that claimed they could cut a key based off a picture of you key. I don't know if that is true. Like others have said I think a key cut from your vin code should be a working key for the doors and trunk. As I bet someone had a key and mated cylinder to a twice unit and that is why your ignition lock is different from your door.
