GM says all warranty work must be performed by a GM Dealership. As an owner you want the work performed by Technicians familiar with Saab cars.
My local former Saab Dealer also sold Chevy and Cadillac so I have not had problems yet.
All of the other former Saab Dealers in the Detroit Metro area were either exclusively Saab or sold only non-GM brand cars in addition to Saab, so work at their shops would not be covered by GM.
