I bought an '08 Aero Sedan with 33K miles in February of this year for $16,700. I have checked pricing and availability of other '08 and '09 cars in my area several times since then, and until reading your post I was confident I got a very good deal.

I like the Aero dash in my '08 almost as much as I liked the dash in my 2000. The "Dame Edna" look of the front fascia has grown on me since its introduction in 2006 and I actually find it very appealing with certain body colors.

I love the 50%+ increase in power from the 170HP in my 2000 to the 260HP in my 2008! I don't miss the B-pillar mesh pockets in the interior since I never used them. I moved the trunk accessories whci were de-dontented by GM from my 2000 to my 2008. Underhood access may be more difficult for certain items with the 2008 fascia (headlamp replacement particularly).

I just added HD Radio to my 2008 last week. The "GM" radio may not have all the features of the Saab exclusive radio in my 2000 (I really miss WeatherBand!) but aftermarket adapters are available - eventhough these manufacturers may not know their pieces fit a 9-5.
