I vote for the MacKay hose set as a permanent replacement, but some owners have replaced their leaking Coolant By-Pass Valves with a plumbing Tee. Another option is to dry and clean the valve as best you can, then neatly slather on a thick coat of epoxy where the top of the valve snaps onto the body.
Both should only be temporary emergency fixes but that is what I think you are seeking.
