Thanks Larry. I just looked through the Carfax maintenance records again and didn't see any mention of tensioners, pulleys or water pump ever being replaced although "Recomended maintenance performed" is mentioned several times. (Maybe they were done then?) As soon as I got some more money stocked up I planned on having the oil cooler replaced with a 01 catera. Mainly because after 3 solid days of scouring the Internet, I couldn't find a Saab oil cooler. Maybe while the engine's apart, I'll have them do the oil cooler, timing belt, tensioners, pulleys and water pump all in one shot. I still have to talk to the shop (heck, I still have to buy the car) but I'm hoping they'll let me purchase my own parts so I can buy them slowly over the next moth or two and then have them install them.
