Only if that mechanic has bought a Saab PCMCIA card for the Tech 2 and learned how to navigate through the Saab menus.
I have a tough time the very few times I have a GM car in and plug my GM card into the Tech 2.
They use a different setup of the menu and if you don't know certain things by heart, it takes you longer trying to figure things out and where to go in the different menus.
I don't know why some radios loose their marriage license every time the battery is disconnected or fuse removed but I have two customers where it happens every time and it is just a matter of hooking up the Tech 2 and marry the radio back to car. No big deal when you know where to go in the menus.
