I have a good comparison. Posted by bobc [Email] (#473) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bobc) on Sun, 24 Mar 2013 19:19:40 In Reply to: Aero tires, Don M [Profile/Gallery] , Sun, 24 Mar 2013 07:15:58 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Ride and looks are of course subjective, but here is my experience.
I've got two areos, an '00 and an '01, I replaced all of the suspension components last year on both cars. Including all shocks, rear spring, all bushings, links etc.
The '00 has got 17" Klingon rims and a set of 225-55 tires
The '01 has 17" BBS RKII rims, and a set of 235-45 tires.
They look and ride (to me) very differently. The 00 looks more sedate, and rides noticeably softer. The 01 looks lower, sporty, more muscular (due to the added tire width). The two cars could not be more similar from the tires up. and yet, they are surprisingly very different.
