I went through the same thing with my 2001 Aero, and I have never regretted it. I did a complete engine rebuild, forged pistons and lots more and Stage 1 ECU.......that was 25,000 miles ago and we are over 170,000 now and I have owned it since new.
These 95s are reall classics....especially the Aeros and very very worth keeping.
We are luck that parts are quite available and we have guys like genuinsaab com and eEuro and thesaabsite and so much help here to keep these great cars on the road and even bring them to technical specs better than new.
