Let me see if I understand this without looking at wiring diagrams. With the 666 mod, the xenon high beam circuit is linked to the mostly unused halogen flash to pass circuit. Both are controlled by the stalk such that after the 666 mod, FTP or high beam activation on the stalk activates both circuits (when low beam xenons are on, but just FTP when xenons are off). You're concern is that the stalk wiring is made for triggering the relay, not carrying the xenon or halogen FTP current.
Why is there back current to the stalk with the 666 mod? If the mod is made under the fuse box, isn't the stalk wiring still isolated? What amperage is safe? I might have to have mine checked
Didn't Saab design the car so that FTP could in theory be held on indefinitely? Wouldn't that suggest that the 666 mod is ok?
