Radiator, Coolant Bypass Valve?

The water pump is on the passenger side of the car.

It could be the coolant bypass valve but that is closer to the driver side firewall.. I'm going to vote for the radiator. Take a look at the upper radiator on the side by the battery..you should see some wet coolant marks. I just went through this and the coolant was leaking from the side down onto the plastic under pan..it came to ground toward the front of the car on the driver side. So order to check;

a.) Coolant Bypass valve (bunch of hoses back by the driver side firewall)
b.) Radiator (they are plastic afterall).

If it were me I would replace both..since your draining the coolant anyway.. One could take a day and (with the magic radiator hose clamp pliers/tool) get it done. You could replace a couple of radiator hoses while at it.. could do the mackay hose to get rid of the coolant bypass valve..or just replace the valve.

After doing my radiator, it was not that hard, but took a long time..I image the labor cost from a mechanic may be 2-3 hours or more?
