Keep in mind that the Edmunds "editors" are exclusively very young, very Californian "canyon cutters" whose ideal ride is a tuned Acura. (I recall reading a review of the Buick LeSabre that moaned about the tire squeal when threading a mountain pass in Northern California!)
Canyon cutters is not the market that Saab is going after. Edmunds reviews are totally subjective with lots of cute, yuk-yuk phrases and little real information.
I'm most influenced by other actual drivers' experiences. http://www.cartalk.com has an Actual Car Information section that includes survey results entered by thousands of people who have actually bought and drive the cars daily. Their 9-5 survey section is completely positive... just about every statement entered starts with "I LOVE THIS CAR!!!". It is very easy to read these survey results and see what cars are good, what cars are not. We don't need kids on a joyride to pick a good vehicle ;-)
