Spray a bit of WD40 on the top of the blue/red connector, SWEDECAR suggested this and it helps, then pry the red connector using a small screwdriver at the top between the red blue fitting, twist screwdriver sideways which moves red connector to your left... should come apart easily now. Mine was real sticky and uncooperative before doing this. Did all my work from topside with car on ramps so I did not have to stoop over as far, easier on the back.
I removed the battery, the maxi fuse relay box, the plastic pipe from the IC to the TB, the aluminum pipe from the BOV to the turbo inlet, and the metal exhaust manifold heat shield.
More room to see and more room for hands. This stuff all comes off easily and quickly. I was also replacing my pulleys, serp belt and two upper motor mounts, so much of this stuff needed to come off anyway. I had no plastic clips holding the wire on but one metal one along the right side of the motor down below the upper rad hose. It just pops off and pushes back on over the new one
