You did NOT first release the whole blue/red part from it's position in the metal bracket before doing the WD-40/screwdriver twist to release the red cap from the blue base, correct?
I can't quite see how to release whole blue/red part from the metal bracket, as I don't know if the red/blue connector block is designed to come up off the metal bracket it's sitting on, or if the cable connector from the CPS is designed to slip out from below after the top part is opened with the WD40/screwdriver.
You sprayed WD-40 where exactly on the red/blue connector?
in the open tiny slots? down the edge of the red side cap? in the back up against the vertical metal brackets where the red tabs stick out of the blue casing?
I'm just paranoid that I will break the red cap part of the connector as I try to pry it open.
