Fuel Pump - Pro Parts Sweden not recommended

So the fuel pump on my 2005 9-5 Aero that I had recently acquired was starting to go (fuel pressure insufficient at full throttle resulting in hesitation). I cheaped out and bought the Pro Parts Sweden model from $129 from EEuro. I installed the new pump proactively back in December.
A few days ago on the way home from work, I started to lose fuel pressure. I pulled off to the side of the road, flipped the rear seats and popped the top of the can. Did not hear the sound of fuel pumping. Car eventually stalled. Oddly enough, I still had the old pump and some tools in the trunk, and performed a 20 minute fuel pump-ectomy on the side of the road from inside the car in the back seat(cold as hell in MN, so glad I was not looking at tank dropping).
When I pulled the busted pump I opened the door behind me and slipped it out the rear passenger side door to keep the in-car fuel spillage to a minimum. I put the old pump back in and it fired right up. Pro parts pump lasted me 2 months or so (not a good investment).
Unfortunately, I was in such a hurry to be home before my son got off the bus, I then drove off without reclaiming the busted fuel pump assembly on the side of the road. Drove by this morning and someone had driven over my pump assembly, shattering it into a million pieces. This means no return to EEuro I guess to get my $129 back. I will buy the Walbro model soon and try again, I guess. Fortunately, I am a pro at getting these in and out now. Live and learn, I guess.
