Dropping exhaust from turbo question Posted by Dano in Texas [Email] (#1125) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Dano in Texas) on Wed, 14 May 2014 10:25:41 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
2003 Aero, 142,000 miles. Everything I read says to remove the nuts from the studs, and the bolts from the hanger and the exhaust will drop. When I separate the exhaust from the flange it is hitting upper part of the transmission mount. I would have to move the exhaust over another almost inch to clear the bottom stud but no room. Looks like the bottom stud must be removed? Any advice? The nuts came off easily after spray with PB blaster.
Trying to get to oil pan for removal.
