At 114K miles, my '01 lpt sedan died Sunday, needing both a new turbo and engine. In addition it will need a new heater box (blend door fix doesn't work for my issue) before winter. The body is in very good shape, as is the interior, etc. Looking at 4 -5 K to get everything up and running again - replace with used engine, turbo.
2 kids in college so a new car is not an option right now. Trying to decide if I should fix it or roll the dice with a used car. I love the Saab but I'm not sure if it is rational to put that much money into a car that is 14 years old.
