CEL 0101 solved after many years!

I have had my 01 9-5 V6 ARC for about 7 years and throughout that time I have had sparotic CEL 0101 codes. I chased it throughout this time with at least one time to the dealer, a new throttle body and many other parts.
I recently noticed some oil around the lower left radiator and could not determine its origin. I finally found a small tear in the hose from the intercooler to the intake pipe, could not be seen and must only open up on some occassions. After replacing this hose, I have a new car.
No codes, no stalling (it would routinely not run well when cold). The performance is near identical but the power brakes are greatly improved. I was obviously not getting adequate vacuum.
I never did a smoke test as I don't have this equipment and wonder if that would have found the problem.
Also surprised that the intake leak had such a profound impact on the vacuum.
I plan to enjoy my "new" Saab for many more years!
