My 2003 Aero, which I bought new in August 2003, just rolled over 200k this past weekend. I previously posted maintenance histories for it at 90k http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=171754, 125k http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=204115, and 180k http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/9-5/index.html?bID=250377.

The last 19 months and 20k miles have been remarkably uneventful - I had the accessory belt, tensioner, and pulley replaced ($430) along with the flex pipe ($360) at Viking Automotive, the great shop in Gaithersburg MD. The flex pipe was, and remains, the only part of the exhaust that's required work on this car. I DIY replaced the original rear rotors and pads ($100), did one set of window rollers ($10), and repaired the J16 junction to solve a P0314 code ($0). Also put a new set of tires on at 194k (Bridgestone RE970 from Costco for $630). Aside from those items it's been oil changes, air filters, etc to the tune of about $185. A grand total of $1,715 in repairs and maintenance, a third of which was the tires.

The car is definitely making new noises, particularly some front end groaning and clunking at various times, so I'm sure I could sink some money into it to refreshing some things. It still drives and performs great though, a fact I'm reminded of every time I get into it at the airport after a business trip during which I drove whatever random rental car I had.
