Hey thanks Anders! I so appreciate your response.
I should clarify that this is not just any old run-on noise as if the engine is hot and it runs on just to cope with the temp. That has been common on this car for its lifetime.

The noise I speak of is in fact a very unhealthy noise & vibration that I can feel when sitting in the cabin. It is as if the engine itself is running on, It was very hard to identify for that purpose but today I had help to do so.

Maybe the bearings in it are shot and it just needs replacing but I looked through the entries on this board and that seems uncommon.

Will take your advice and get a scan tool on there to check temps but I have some replacing to do to some degree or other it would seem. Hoping my non-Saab guy can do that.

The radiator itself was replaced with a Nissens unit a couple of years ago and has seemed fine for that whole time. The fan is original.
