Replaced the Cabin Filter on my '08 for first time Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 10 Apr 2015 11:39:03 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
First time in my three years of ownership and obviously first time for the car too! I had done this job twice with my '00 9-5 and it was an awkward job due to lack of space and location of a couple of the filter box screws.
Somehow, Saab managed to make this job even more difficult with one of the redesigns between '00 and '08. What was awkward before is nearly impossible now! Did they add some electronics behind the glovebox? I don't remember any obstruction being in the filter extraction path before.
Oh well, done for another 3 or 4 years now.
