There are a few pix at the link from when I did a "Trial run" taking the donor part from the donor car.
Oversimplified, but not by a lot:
Front seats come out, then the air distribution ducts under the carpet. Then the center console trim.
Instruments removal is standard, fascia comes out, MIU, Radio, ACC, SID, etc. Steering wheel, light & wiper switches, fuse box is released, glove box, lower trim, upper trim, dash speakers & bezels, A pillar trim.
About now, it's time to remove the dash, BUT, you have to disconnect the passenger airbag, which is one or two electrical connectors (one on the right if a single stage airbag, one each end if dual stage), and a strap with a 10mm head bolt.
Once the dash is out, it's down to freeing the crossbar. Clipping a lot of wire ties, unbolting a lot of braces and brackets. Unbolt the steering column, the pedal bracket, the relay box. CAREFULLY thread the bar out from the wire harness. Have a friend help here, so you don't accidentally hit the windshield.
Now, it's time to think about the firewall side. AC lines, expansion valve, heater hoses, then three screws hold the heater box in.
Back inside, unbolt the shifter from the body, disconnect the console air duct. Move the shifter as needed to get the heater box out. Heater box also has to thread out under the wiring. Clean up spilled coolant.
And, then, as the Haynes manual says... "Installation is the reverse of removal"...
