You should demand that your insurance company perform an investigation. It's in their best interest since the cost of an investigation to find fault should be small compared to the cost of replacing your Saab and a Caddy (if you're found at fault).
IMHO, assuming the Caddy driver applied his brakes and taking his 40 -45 mph estimate at face value, I'd say there's no way your car would have sustained that level of damage for a 20 - 25 mph impact. The Caddy was going much faster than 40 - 45 and even a cursory investigation should show that. Push for it.
