Dean - Thanks for the bounce to your write up. I've had good success with those clips used on the hoses using needle nose vise grips. I have several sizes. I also find that a little Kroil on the typical sliding electrical connectors is very effective.
How do you get the cable off the spring loaded arm? I presume you take the cover off, then it should be obvious.
I see the eEuro has the throttle body for $385 with the seals and free shipment so I'll likely go that route.
The car still runs fine but has a very erratic and sometimes disconcerting idle.
From my previous posts in this thread, the TB should be a 5,000 hour maintenance item. Looks like you only got 3,000 or so out of yours. That's similar to my experience with the CPS.
