I had the car on ramps and found it easier to restart the plug from below. I previously tried a long length of shorter extensions and had far too much slop to twist the plug open. Higher quality extensions may not have this problem
I bought a set of long extensions at the local Harbor Freight for $15 that included a 24 inch long 3/8s.
Not sure what I will ever do with the 12 and 18 inch long 1/4s that came with the set. Maybe glue a magnet on the ends?
