These diappeared once before too Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 26 Aug 2016 16:55:25 In Reply to: No more "bypass" heater hoses to be had, SWEDECAR [Profile/Gallery] , Fri, 26 Aug 2016 07:29:15 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
How close are the 9-5 by-pass hoses to the heater hose set used on the OG9-3?
I still have a set of the MacKay hoses in my parts cabinet. Just haven't installed them yet on my 9-5.
Web sources show these hoses are still stocked in Sweden. UK parts houses are selling the do88 brand equivalent, which is actually a silicone hose. And Australian parts houses show the MacKay hoses in stock, search global eBay. SparesBox will ship to the US from Australia which is a rarity for Australian firms because trans-Pacific shipping costs are sky-high. SparesBox smartly uses mail for transport rather than regular trans-Pacific shipping. Still not inexpensive.
