Window rubber adhesive

The rear, lower window seal (PN 4853818) in my front door was in pretty bad shape with a long tear so I'm going to use a new one. What is the ideal and ok adhesive and technique for gluing? Do I put dabs of adhesive every 1.5" or so in case this ever has to be removed? Do I glue just the flat rear of the door channel or also along the bent edges? Any other spots that need some adhesive?
Will I have enough room with the glass in there or should I remove the window entirely? Do I then leave the window partially down for a bit to help clamp the seal in place?
Last time I used some anti-seize on the rollers. Not deal, but that's all I had on hand at the time and it seemed fine after many years. I assume Sil-glyde would be better for the rollers?
There had to be a way for Saab to design these problems out of the car.
