Capturing what Haynes has to say about the antenna amp situation in the wagon. Other than trial-and-error I don't know how to figure out which component might be faulty. Not looking forward to the headliner and trim parts of this job either.
One of two systems is fitted to Estate models. The first system uses an AM/FM aerial integrated into the rear right-hand side window and an adjacent amplifier and filter located on the D-pillar. In addition, the second system uses an FM aerial integrated into the rear left-hand side window and an adjacent amplifier and filter located on the D-pillar. The second system has a diversity function whereby the aerial with the best signal reception is used by the radio receiver.
