Sorry to be away so long. There are two more sources of clicks that are not suspension related. Failed motor mounts click. I recently replaced my clicking rear motor mount. I replaced the shot transmission mount when I got the car at 135k. I do not recall that it was clicking but I removed it in two parts. I also replaced the passenger side motor mount at that time.
Also, the subframe mounts can click when failed, according to some on this forum. I have not yet experienced failed subframe bushings.
