Thanks first for your reply. Truck with hitch ball slowly backed into my pass side wheel and bent the strut so in order to make sure nothing else was wrong I essentially had to let the shop finish the one strut and do alignment in order to see if anything else costly before I invested in another strut. And I didn't want to pay the shop another $400 for a 2nd strut/mount/install. Fortunately it seems like nothing else was damaged. I got enough insr $ for the scratched wheel in order to cover the DIY 2nd strut & strut mount and another alignment ($70). I did make sure that the shop used the same Monroe strut and new mount that I was going to use and had used previously. So the front has both exact same new matched pair struts and strut mounts. And I personally oversaw the alignment as I have added a camber bolt on pass side and previously added camber shims in rear hubs myself. Probably smartest to just get it rechecked. Hoping to hear some opinions first especially since it was tracking even better now than just after the alignment. Thank you.
