Well, water pumps are a thing regardless of the 4 or 6. I wouldn't call the timing belt/tensioner an issue, just a required maintenance item.
There are 2 other things I will point out...
1. As pme stated, the oil cooler. It will fail at some point, and catching it early is important if you don't want to replace the whole cooling system.
2. Other Coolant leaks - the v6 has an auxiliary pump to circulate coolant and heat the cabin when the car is shut down (if selected by the user). This pump can leak. There is a great thread on saabnet about v6 coolant leak spots that I'll link below.
I saw Swedecar mention that the failure of the cats may be a little higher due to the blow by (may have been a thread that I created). He's an expert so should be a consideration.
Otherwise, it's just a smooth running cruiser. I get 16-17mpg in pure Nashville city driving (I live and work in the city) and 29mpg on my last 2 1600+ mile round trips.
I haven't had any trouble finding parts, even used parts (Goldwing - with a lifetime warranty).
