Well it's not a show car, but I'm not in a position to replace it yet so I'd rather it work for a few more years. I called the Saab guy in these parts, Jerry at Foreign Auto Specialities in Minneapolis, and he basically said what we've said. He thought a magnet could get down there too, but after pushing some rubber hose and some wire down there I don't see how a magnet could make it. Even if I could get one down there, my luck I'd pull the torx bit up sideways and knock it back in the pan. He said if a magnet or whatever couldn't pull it up, to just leave it in there. He also said for him to pull the oil pan would be at least $400. So I'm going to throw the valve cover back on and see what happens.
