Oh, my preliminary result on the new to us 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid indicate an improvement in summertime fuel efficiency from about 6.5l/100km to 6.1l/100km or about 7%. Maybe due to the Atkinson cycle optimizing it's benefits better than a regular ICE.
