I would say the main thing I've actually felt was well demonstrated, was the fuel pump seemed to run quieter when it was getting a couple ounces in every tankful. Mileage seems quite good but I change up my trips - I'm not scientific enough in my activity.
As the motor accumulates wear, the valve train seems to be holding on nicely. Except for one thing. I think the timing chain, gears and associated bits could be quieter. The Lucas fuel treatment can't help those. And I have had an alternator, a power steering pump and now a water pump replaced due to the noise they were making (from being old and worn).
