I have 2007 SAAB 9-5 estate. Like others I disconnected battery for approx. 30 mins 3 days ago and noticed CLOCK function on DENSO unit was greyed out with no clock reading. Operated soft button hoping to be able to reset Clock - no chance. Checked owners manual and a user hint states that if battery is disconnected then clock function will be lost as well as manual clock adjustment until audio/ GPS signal received.
Radio and Sat Nav functions appear to work OK but once ignition turned I am noticing "GPS with a red line through it " being displayed - presumably no GPS signal this goes off after approx. 2 miles. Never noticed this before. It's as though unit is struggling to lock onto GPS signal. I've sent e-mail to DENSO but haven't yet received reply.
Like others I didn't realise how often I looked at clock.
Can't seem to see any fixes, and owners manual useless.
Think just have to live with it and hope that at some time it corrects itself!!
I've disconnected battery quite frequently previously but never had this trouble before.
I'll watch links for GM progress.
