Commute from home to work is 37 miles. Multiple short trips today before starting for home, plus a refuge stop under an overpass on my evening commute to avoid 1/2 inch hail stones.

I carried a jug of coolant and a pair of gloves with me today as a precaution.

And when I checked the reservoir an hour or two after my return home, the level appeared to be identical to immediately after re-filling in the morning.

I guess 'intermittent' gets added to the description too.
