I was a 15+ year SAABnet member. I need to renew.
2002 Viggen 105K. Was running perfect. Suddenly hit limp home mode and barely made it home.
Cranks over fine. Won't start.
Scanned CEL and checked WIS for the codes present
P1312: Combustion detection cyl 1 & 2 Open Circuit short to B+
P1334: Combustion detection cyl 3 & 4 Open Circuit short to B+
P0340: CPS Sensor malfunction
P1230 Throttle Position Sensor 1 & 2 circuit sum out of range
P0455 Large EVAP leak- Has been present for 3 with no prior negative impact
So far I have tried or tested the following. I have 2 Viggens, a spare B235R, and lots of spare parts.
1) Replaced all vacuum lines 2 years ago. Checked them and all look good.
2) Verified spark present at each cylinder
3) Verified fuel Pressure present
4) Pulled the plugs- they were fuel soaked. Replaced plugs- NGK as they were close to due.
5) Installed new (spare) DIC. No change
6) Installed used throttle body( cleaned it well) from my former 9-5 Aero. Intake manifold fuel soaked. Wiped it out and let fuel evaporate No change.
6) Installed new (spare) CPS-it was 10 years old anyway. No change
7) Installed new (spare) MAF. No change.
8) Battery is fairly new. I fully charged it.
Could the long standing EVAP leak have gotten worse and be causing this? I have another EVAP purge valve I will try.
What else should I look for- try?
Thank you
