I bought my '08 Aero used in 2012 and it now has 206K miles. Headlamps are more difficult to replace, the fuel level sensor is a cheap GM design and is a failure mode on all GM vehicles which use it, revised battery position makes some underhood work more difficult (see headlamp comment above). Cabin filter is even more difficult to access (can you believe it?), and the WIS erroneously states that removal of the flocked trunk lid liner is necessary to access some rear lamps.
Service to date, for which I paid to have K&N Service Techs perform, is limited to:
new fuel pump to correct level sensor issue
new Throttle body
I otherwise D-I-Y service items. The EPC has similar challenges as the WIS with some incorrect parts identified. I never encountered this WIS/EPC issue with my 2000.
