Siphoning fuel from a 9-5 Posted by Dave The Ice Age Knave [Email] [Profile/Gallery]

We tried to siphon some old fuel from our mothballed 2005 Arc and replenish it with new. We were unsuccessful. Is there anything preventing the fuel from being siphoned like a Safety Sam one way valve (which prevents fuel from draining through your broken year window into the passenger compartment when you are hanging upside in a ditch with a lit cigarette dangling from your lip) or is it our haggard equipment. The end was pretty deep but it appeared not to be "wet" when we took it out a couple of times.
