I suspect that this is the case, as it starts out at the actual temp, and as the car heats up, eventually goes to 122 degrees F. Took the car back to the Indy (local Saab specialist) this morning and although he sort of initially said the sensor was bad (I am not a real believer in coincidences happening when repairs are done on cars...), but when I suggested that the sensor could have been accidentally knocked loose, he agreed to have a look, and I left the car with him again.
Funny, this Indy is by far the most experienced with Saabs around these parts, but sometimes I wonder why what seem like pretty common issues kind of tend to elude him at first.
