I asked my dad about all of this, since he's an electrical engineer. You can't simply reverse the sensor leads. One SID wants an open connection when the fluid level is low, and the other version wants a closed connection when the level is low. You could potentially reverse it using a relay or two, but that would involve running 12 volts to that area and a fair amount of new wiring. I had also taken my car to an independent Saab repair shop in the area and was told there was no option to reprogram the washer fluid trigger on the SID. That matches up with what I found. I dug through every option on the Tech 2, and nothing like that exists.
