For what its worth. The longer arm resolved my blend door issues. completely, but i still get an 08 and 11 code now and again.... I think the longer arm may, at times, still spin just a bit inside the blend door tube, and cause the codes to get thrown but not affect performance of the mechanisms... Even my saab specialist mechanic says hes stumped by why the codes show up.... he did the same tests i did with my tech 2 as well... and watching everything when disassembled enough to view.
It concerned me the first few weeks, thinking i would have to go underneath there and do everything all over.... but its been about a year now and no issues other than the pesky code.
