I looked very closely and could not find any numbering (even tiny lettering) printed on the wires....much to my surprise! As I mentioned...I had not completed the part of the instructions to connect up to the wiring blocks in the driver's side footwell yet. Was waiting for nicer weather and more time to go carefully and see if the new information cleared up some of the confusion. Given the current shelter at home rules (although I am in IT and can work from home), I will probably take a day or two off in the next week or two to spend on that. After all, not taking any vacation out of town in the near future!
My indy Saab mechanic said to bring it in if I got stuck and they could probably figure out what connects to what. I may take him up on that to throw some more business his way during this time.
As for the connector..... there was another Saab OEM part number (I don't have it handy) that connected to the 10-pin on this wiring harness and then terminated on the other end in a standard trailer 4-pin. That part, though, seems to be getting nigh close to unobtanium. I had planned to contact ORIO to see if they had it or knew an aftermarket alternative. If not, I might have to check with Goldwing or another pick and pull as that part used to be standard for all 9-5s at one point.
