The lock should not be lubed. The lube causes the little plates in the lock to stick to the body of the lock and thus not follow the key properly when inserted. Been there, done that, but on a 9000.
I think the only remedy is to loosen the center console and work on it from the bottom to remove the lock. For manual cars you can only loosen and slightly tilt the center console. Been there, done that as well, but not because of lubing the 9-5 lock but because of ignoring the sticking lock for too long. The automatic seems to be a bit easier because you can tilt the center console more.
The locks start to bind because the openings in the little plates inside the lock wear out because of the key, making them extend beyond the core of the lock.
When a lock starts to fail never wait but take it out and take it apart completely. File or grind down the top of the little plates with the key in the core of the cylinder until they donot stick out anymore, then re-assemble lock and insert it in the car.
Good luck, Rene
