Thanks for the ideas Paul but no go. Still no SID Display lighting, not just bad pixels, no visible display unless I squint and cock my head;) Fuses are good,changed the main light switch, jiggled wires, changed the bulbs in the SID unit all to no avail. Everything else on the dash works and I can change functions on the SID, I just can't see them unless I have my nose on it! WEIRD! Everything worked fine when I shut it off one night and the next morning...nothing. No evidence of mice, squirilles gremlins or elves! I gotta think the SID unit is not THAT specific power through the connector??? Here's a schematic of the SID but I'm not sure what I'm looking at here and which is the connector to ring out? I don't know where to go next and any help would be greatly appreciated.
