See my post on 13 Jan for a company located in Georgia. Another reply stated that the BBA in Ontario would not honor the MA BBA warranty, but they might fix it for you. Suggest you call each place.
I also found at least one YouTube video where an ABS was opened and the guy inspected solder joints to see if any had cracked. The joints at the power input were bad and hE resoldered them and his CEL vanished. It was not a Bosch unit, but I suspect they all have circuit boards that are subjected heating and cooling where over time some of the soldered connections crack. Heat expansion and contraction on cooling of dissimilar materials can lead to failures.
Since mine is working after BBA fixed it, I will not open it to see. If I ever get hands on a broken one, I’ll open it for inspection.
